Since the congregation was founded in 1991 and began to grow, Jerusalem Assembly House of Redemption has been in need of a permanent structure. We are grateful for the various rental halls the Lord has provided for so many years. With God’s help we recently purchased a permanent facility, providing unlimited access for church activities. While we have placed a down payment, we are in the process of making the final payments before we officially move in before the end of this year.
We have established a building fund, separate from our regular weekly giving and are partnering with others to help us make this vision a reality.
Should God lead you to contribute financially to the purchase of the building and permanent home for Jerusalem Assembly, please proceed to our “Donate” page for details. Earmark your donation “JA Building fund”.
Building Project Updates
April 4th 2010
Phase one of the renovations is done. We meet in the fellowship room that we renovated with our youth group last Christmas. We use the offices area but bring our own furniture from home. The main service hall, classes and recording studio will be renovated in phase two. Meanwhile they remain a big black room.
As for now, we continue to pray and present our needs before our Lord. Though we continue to give sacrificially toward the completion of the church project, we do need your help. Please continue to pray for us that the completion will be soon.

Since Nov. 7th our church services are being held in the new facility. We moved from Friday evening to Saturday 10:30 am. Although the place is not renovated we cleaned the fellowship hall and will meet there until the end of the renovations.
During Hanukah (Feast of Dedication) the youth and some adults worked long days renovating the fellowship hall. We scraped, plastered and painted the walls.
By God's grace, we had 40% of the renovation sum on hand and therefore we started working in the facility. The $400000 (40%) is mainly dedicated to structural changes: destroy and clear interior walls and build the: 11 toilets, kitchen, offices, front part of the main hall and installing all electrical infrastructures.
We pray that by the time phase one will end, (estimation is two-three months), God will provide the needed sum to go on to the next phase.

Since the renovations started, I spend most of the day in the church. Each day new things are being done. Almost each day we meet with different contractors and compare prices. While working, new idea's come up and we change and upgrade while the work is being done. Yes, I am very excited, humbled and have total satisfaction in spending most of the day in God's house.
The people in the church are not less excited. Thank God, the people continue to give sacrificially toward the church’s renovations. It encourages to give as we see the results each week. We are sure that our Lord will help us to finish what He allowed us to start – We still need about $600,000 to totally finish the project.
I also thank you our brothers and sisters in the Lord who stood with us all these years. You give us your best, showing your trust and faith. We pray that our Lord will continue to supply all your needs and shine His face towards you.
Together with you we pray each day that lives will be changed in this place.
