Our children are the church of tomorrow and it is our desire to see them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our children’s department has flourished into a thriving program with classes for children ages 2 to 12. The teaching staff seeks to affirm parental Bible-based education. The Children’s program also includes summer camp, vacation Bible school and kids club, a weekly Bible club program.
We provide Sabbath school classes for children ages 2 through 12. We currently have four classes: toddlers (2-3 years), preschoolers (4-5 years), 1st through 3rd grade, 4th through 5th and 6th through 8th grade. Before classes begin, the children worship together with their families during our song and prayer portion of the service. Classes are taught in Hebrew and include a Bible story, crafts and application. Our goal is to help our children know the Lord Yeshua as their personal Savior, to teach them the Word of God in its fullness and to encourage them to study it on their own.
We desire to see our children grow spiritually, have additional outlets for learning the Scriptures and to develop friendships with the other children. We provide a mid-week Kid's Club for children ages 6 to 11 for a time of games, crafts and a lesson based on biblical values. Additionally, there are special activities for families with children during holidays.
Jerusalem Assembly organizes camps for its children and youth as well as others in the believing community in Israel. We host a one-week Vacation Bible School for children ages 3 through 6; a children's camp for 1st through 5th graders; and a youth camp.
Twice a year our teaching staff attends national seminars and teacher's training geared at the specific age group they are teaching.
The goal of the youth group is to see the youth develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as well as come together in spirit and unity worshiping God.
The youth group provides an alternative to what the world has to offer. With weekly meetings at the homes of the teens and their leaders as well as at the chruch building, the youth have an opportunity to gather for a time of Bible study, fellowship and encouragement. Through personal growth the youth become refined, and equipped for the Master’s use. The youth ministry also includes summer and winter camps, youth conferences and youth gatherings.
